Music That Takes Me Places

FOXWARREN, FOXWARREN

Andy Shauf may be best known for his solo work, but Foxwarren, a collaboration with longtime friends from his Saskatchewan hometown—shows another side of his songwriting. The album is steady and unpolished in a way that feels intentional, built on clean guitar tones, subtle grooves, and a sense of comfort among the players. The lyrics stay close to the ground, often focused on small moments, uncertainty, and the distance between people. There are no big gestures here, just solid, thoughtful songs that land quietly. It is the only release from Foxwarren so far and feels like a hidden chapter in Shauf’s already strong catalog.
